The Tudors 4 – final episode

Hey guys! I made this post because I would like to know your thoughts about the final episode of The Tudors. I must confess that I cried like a child, a lot of beautiful and sad moments. When I saw Catherine of Aragon, I just felt the whole atmosphere of season 1. Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn looked so pretty, her “speech” was great and she even mentioned her cousin, Catherine Howard. Priceless! :( Coming back to Jonathan’s appearance… in my humble opinion, The Tudors crew couldn’t choose better. He showed us so many emotions – from good to bad. Jonathan was the perfect King. In this last episode I felt really sorry for him, even though I know that Henry VIII did awful things to his wives, for example. Plus seeing him as a young man again, aww that was so cute! I will miss The Tudors for sure. Share your opinions below. Thank you. :)

wow – JRM is King Henry VIII. I do not know how television critics can look at season 4 and not see emmys all over the place. what a cast of characters! in spite of his illness, JRM carried off a strong presence until the end. i feel like i have spent time in the 16th century.

I’m yet to watch season 4, I can’t wait but I dont want it to end, ever :(
I nearly cried myself reading what you thought about it I can’t wait to see jonny looking young again and also seeing natalie back as anne! I totally agree about the award he should win it hands down. there are no words to describe jonthans performance as henry viii he bought lots of different emotions to it and i’m sure his performance will be remembered as one of the best he bought sadness, happiness, jealousy, anger, love, frustration and many more to it. I will be forever grateful to michael hirst for creating the tudors and for the casting directors for choosing jonny to play one of the best kings to rule england. he may not look like king henry as we know him, but jonny bought a different thing to the role and made it his own. if it weren’t for them I wouldn’t have known about jonny or natalie etc and whatever all of the cast do next I wish them all the very best of luck as I don’t think they will be in a programme ever again that matches up to the tudors. I love you jonny & thankyou for accepting the role.
long live the king xxxxx

I just saw the last episode of the Tudors and I too am very said to see it end. I loved all of the actors, especially JRM, and Natalie Dormer as Ann Boelyn. The costumes, scenery and haunting music made watching the Tudors an exceptional experience and I will miss it. I’ll just have to be the DVD’s and watch it over and over. The series and JRM should win an Emmy, AND, the People’s Choice Award.

I’m so happy to have discovered this website – it’s a relief to be able to share my feelings about this show and, of course, His Majesty.

It was a great pleasure to watch JRM’s brilliant play in the Tudors. What a talented actor he is!

I think the creators of the Tudors reached one of their goals – to make English history more appealing and interesting to younger generation and Jonathan has contributed so much to it.

While watching the last TV series I was wondering what the ending would be like and I must admit that it exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Very meaningful, and the emotions were very well rendered.

Thank you for the best historic TV series ever!

Thank you, Jonathan, for bringing “life” to it :)
